My vison for cochrane
Who Am I?
I'm Marni Fedeyko, longtime Cochrane resident, current Town Councillor, proud mom, and passionate community advocate.
Serving on council has been an honour, and I’ve never taken the trust of this community for granted. I believe in showing up, speaking up, and standing up for the people who live here and the values we share.
I’m not afraid to ask tough questions, challenge the status quo, or push for the answers residents deserve.
What drives me is simple: making sure Cochrane remains a place we’re proud to call home. That means putting people first, making thoughtful decisions that reflect our needs, and keeping government open, accountable, and responsive.
What’s My Vision?
Cochrane is growing, and with that growth comes both challenges and opportunities. My vision is a town where decisions are made with transparency, where residents feel heard, and where fiscal responsibility is more than just a buzzword; it’s a commitment.
I’m running on three core principles:
Accountability. Community. Transparency.
I believe in responsible leadership that respects your input, protects your investment in this community, and puts people (not politics) first. Lets ACT together, now and in this upcoming election, to keep Cochrane moving in the right direction!
-
Accountability
Accountability means making sure every tax dollar is used responsibly and efficiently. I believe in careful budgeting, clear priorities, and holding both council and administration to high standards. Cochrane families deserve to see real value in every decision we make.
-
Community
Community is at the heart of everything I do. That means actively listening to residents, showing up, and ensuring your voices are heard. I’m committed to making decisions that reflect Cochrane’s unique values, support local families and businesses, and help our town grow in the right way.
-
Transparency
Transparency is about trust. You deserve open, honest, and straightforward communication from your elected officials. I’ll continue to push for clear updates, two-way dialogue, and greater accountability at Town Hall so you’re never left in the dark.
